The visual art courses at SFCA are taught by Ms. Duchon, who is dedicated to providing students across all grade levels with a rich and inspiring art education. Our program fosters both artistic skills and an appreciation for creativity. Students explore a variety of mediums including watercolor, tempera, acrylic paint, clay, paper, and fabric, enabling them to create distinctive two-dimensional and three-dimensional works of art.
In addition to hands-on learning, students are encouraged to showcase their talents by submitting their artwork to local and regional art fairs and competitions. This not only builds confidence but also allows them to experience the broader art community and gain valuable recognition.
Our monthly after-school art club provides students with a supportive environment to explore creativity, develop artistic skills, and express themselves through a variety of art projects.
