Q. How will I find out if my child(ren) have been accepted?
A. The SFCA Administrator will review your application and Pastor references. Once all have been submitted, the Administrator will make a determination regarding admission status and will send an email to you to inform you of the application status.
Q. Is busing available?
A. Yes. Home school district bussing is available for the Armstrong, Indiana, and Marion Center school districts. Please contact with your home school district. In addition, Seeds of Faith Christian Academy provides shuttle services from designated locations. Please visit our transportation page for more details.
Q. Why do I need a Pastor’s reference?
A. SFCA believes to walk in the Christian Faith it is important to be in regular fellowship and worship with other Christians. Part of admission acceptance is the faithful and regular attendance of church services. A Pastor’s reference will confirm your participation and attendance at a church.
Q. Is SFCA affiliated with a denomination?
A. No. SFCA is a non- denomination affiliated school.

Q. Do you run on Marion Center’s School Schedule?
A. Not completely. While some of our winter storm cancellations may be the same, it is not guaranteed that SFCA will be closed or delayed. Parents are encouraged to sign up for notifications through Remind and we will also send out an email to be notified of schedule changes.
Q. Do you have a hot lunch program?
A. Yes. We now offer a hot lunch program Monday through Friday for all students. We offer students a delicious and healthy meal to choose from every day with an alternate, as well.
Q. What curriculum does the school use?
A. SFCA uses Abeka curriculum for students in preschool through Grade 6, that promotes academic rigor, but also promotes a Christian perspective. Parents are welcome to review the curriculum prior to admission.
Q. Do volunteers need clearances?
A. All volunteers are required to have the clearances to comply with Pennsylvania laws and regulations.
Q. Do students have an opportunity for field trips?
A. Yes. Each grade and teacher will determine which trips will be taken.
Q. Is technology taught?
A. Yes. The primary and secondary programs offer computer labs teaching the latest in technology.
Q. What is the student to teacher ratio?
A. In the Pre-K and K-Prep Program, we accommodate up to 25 students with a teacher a full -time assistant teacher. Our Kindergarten program has a 10:1 ratio. All other class have an 8:1 student to teacher ratio.
Q. What time does school begin and end?
A. Students can arrive between 7:45am and 7:55am and proceed to their homeroom. Homeroom begins promptly at 8:00am. School ends at 2:50pm; however, students being picked up by parents are dismissed at approximately 2:55pm. Please click for Arrival and Dismissal Procedures.
